Designer Hats from the Fashion Class

The Fashion Design class recently visited the Peabody Essex Museum to view the Hats exhibit. With hats, crowns, turbins, and fascinators worn by the likes of Lady Gaga, the Queen of England, Sarah Jessica Parker, and MANY more, the exhibit was a site to see. 

Unfortunately the staff wouldn't let us try on hats (the nerve!), so we decided to create our own. Using plain hats or headbands as a base, students in the Fashion class sketched their design and brought it to life. Their hard work and extreme attention to detail shows how much flair and pizzaz these hats have. I am constantly in awe of how amazing the students at Burlington High School are; their designs continue to wow America. You don't want to miss these hats!
