Printmaking is one of my favorite artistic mediums. I thoroughly enjoy the process of creating a stencil or a plate. Teachers as Scholars is a wonderful program run through Harvard and the amazing Henry Bolter, where teachers are able to take riveting and relevant professional development taught by masters in their fields. I was fortunate to be able to take a 3 day printmaking workshop with master printmaker, Randy Garber.

We learned about monoprints, etching, and collagraph prints in a full printmaking studio based in Davis Square in Somerville, Massachusetts. Take a look at some of the photos!

This printing press was brought over from Europe and made electric. It was used to create Picasso's prints!
