Steps:
  1. Brainstorm and looking at logos
  2. Create 8 different concepts (sketches)
  3. Talk with the class about our concepts
  4. Learning about Logo Design
  5. Resolution, Vector vs Raster
  6. Begin in Photoshop or Illustrator
  7. Dimensions: 8x10
  8. Each student needs 2 DIFFERENT concepts
  9. You must also design a letterhead for both concepts
  10. Save the logo as "yourlastname.BDA.jpeg" and place into the ART-NAS server.
  11. Save the letterheads as "yourlastname.BDA.

From the client:
For the preview meeting, if we could see the logo on a 8.5 x 11 as letterhead and one on a poster board size . No color specifications. We do request, that at least one of the sample logos have the words: Burlington Disability Access Commission circle around the logo. Not all the designs have to have this, just one for us to sample.

We really would like the logo to be a way of people to recognize it and know that it represents the Burlington Disability Access Commission, just like Nike's logo, Champion's logo do for these companies etc. Our mission is to make town owned buildings (schools, town hall police station etc.) and recreation facilities accessible for persons with disabilities. We like to call ourselves differently-abled. This means that we can do things everyone else can do, just in a different way.
