Background
Posters have been created early in organized human history. Early printed poster designs date back to the 19th century. Posters are a visual marketing tool used in both print and digital advertising. In order for poster design to be successful, it has got to be readable, aesthetically pleasing, and educate the reader of its purpose quickly. 

Assignment
Your assignment is to create a poster in Adobe Illustrator using hand lettering techniques. You will learn how to use the pen/brush tool to create the poster. Choose a quote that speaks to you personally. Decide if you want to be inspirational or make a statement. Regardless of which you choose, make an impact. We will hang these throughout the school.
