Create Your Own Emoji

Say what you want about Kim Kardashian, but her "Kimoji" app, has made lots of money and has been consistently in the top 10 paid apps

Emoji's are a part of our everyday lives. Sony is even in the process of creating an animated emoji movie. Your assignment is to create a personal emoji! You will be using Illustrator to create it. This is an "in between" assignment that you will work on during down-time in class. You already know the tools you will need to create your emoji. 

Specs

• Adobe Illustrator
• RGB
• 6"x6"
• Create 1 personal emoji, & if you have time, create more! Your participation grade will be based on this project.
• Use gradients to add 3-dimensionality.

• What is the purpose of emojis?
• What is the history of the emoji?
• What do you think you should include in your emoji in order to portray yourself?
• What do you like to do? What do you like to eat? What colors are your favorite? Are you a constant texter? Do you love taking selfies?
