Your assignment is to learn different ways of coding using Hopscotch and then Scratch.

What is the the Makey Makey?! What does it do and how does it work?

The Hour of Code is a global initiative to get people to code for at least an hour during a week of the year. There are so many ways to code, yet it seems daunting to many people. It doesn't have to be, and when it works out, it can be so exhilarating! 

There are a few things we will learn in class to begin our coding adventure...!

1. Homework: Download Hopscotch on the App Store. You will create something on the app and project to the class projector. Click the + button and create something. 
2. Open Scratch on your desktop computer. Play around with that coding.
3. ​We will move on to more advanced coding in Scratch.
